So this was a few year ago and forgot to post it. So I have been looking for a good intervalometer for my Nikon D40. I found this company from Europe called Genltes Unlimited. They have a full range of products for cameras. I bought the gentLED-AUTO which is mad for DLSR cameras with IR capability. I am happy with it. The design is simple. The battery is a common battery. It has amazing interval settings. you can go from like 1 sec to 30 minutes. Below are two Time-Lapses that I did using this. The video with me driving the gentLED-AUTO work great.
