BOOKS,BOOKS, and MORE BOOKS

For the week after finals I stayed in Las Cruces to work for a week.  All week long I spent my time cataloging the Geology Library. It made for a boring week but I made it go by fast. Tuesday nigh was great I went for Taco Tuesday and got 50 cent tacos and $3 margaritas. Then n the weekend I went to two ugly sweater Christmas party. I had so much fun meet some new people and had a great time. I woke up Sunday and drove home to Carlsbad for the next several weeks. Lets see what stuff I will do next.

Where Did It Go

 

So the Fall semester of 2011 is over. I fished my finals on Tuesday. I could have went home but I stayed so I could hang out with my friends before break. This semester has been packed full of fun. I made this last week worth it. This semester has been crazy. I assume you can remember some of my past posts. When the semester started I just wanted to leave and I could not stand to be here. I remember Kyle Ivey and I talking about how we hated it here and could not wait for the semester to be over. I wish I would have not said that. Because this semester was one of the best semesters. I did so may different things I thought I would never do. I had so much fun and meet new people and friends. I wish this semester was not over. I made a list of things to change when I got here. I thought I would have not changed. But looking over the list now I have accomplished everything but a few. Quick run down. Sunday night Andree, Anthony, Arik and I chilled all night and had a blast.  Tuedsay night Kyle, Andree, Arik and Anthony all went to the Pancake dinner. Thursday night I went to a ugly sweater party. I had a lot of fun that night. Then on Friday I went to El Paso. Andree, Arik, Anthony and I went there to check out the Human Body Exhibit. It was really cool. Then afterwards we ate at Andree's aunts house. Then went to the mall. I finally got a new hat. On Saturday night was the Geology Christmas Party. After being there for a few hours we left. Then went to Joe graduation party. I had a good time hanging out with the graduate students and listening to Joes band play.  After being there most of the night we headed to Kyles. At Kyles they played poker and then we stayed up playing Rock Band. What a great week I had. Now it is Sunday and most of my friends went home for break. I am staying here for a week to make some money. So there goes another semester in college. Excited for next semester so see what things I will be doing.

Almost DONE!!!!

It's the week before finals. I am finished with class for the semester. Now it time for finals next week. I spent my time writing a 10 page paper on Cave stewardship. Then I had a presentation I presented on Thursday.  Then on Thursday night I went to Grahams Central Station and Brat Crow was playing.
We got Western as Kyle would say it. I had so much fun. I danced with several women and it is making me a better dancer. Hell yeah !!!! Then Friday night Kyle and I meet some friends in El Paso and went to the bar. The next morning we woke up at our friends house. Had a bomb breakfast and did some roping they taught me how. I made it home and went to the last two quarters of the football game. That makes a total of  1.75 football games I went to this year. Then Arik and I chilled for a while. Later that night Anthony came over and hung out. Then on Sunday my boss from Intrepid invited me to lunch with him. I had a good time catching up with him. That afternoon Arik, Andree, Anthony and I went to the NMSU play called Once in a Lifetime. I really enjoyed it and want to go to more next semester. Then that night I went to a catholic church service then walked around the luminaries. We all hung out all night had a lot of fun. So the question you ask is why are you not studying. Well I got this I have two exam and that's it. ONE MORE WEEK !!!!!!!!!

Thanksgiving Break

Well two weeks ago was the week before Thanksgiving. On Tuesday Night I went and saw Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I had a blast with Arik, Kyle, Andree and Anthony. We all got in free thanks to Arik.

Then on Friday night I meet Kyle in El Paso. We went to WiskeyDicks to see Aaron Watson. Kyle friends and family when with us. I learned how to waltz and cotton eye joe from his mom and sister. I had so much. I crashed at his house that night. The next day I drove home for thanksgiving break.

Thanksgiving break was fun. I hung out a lot with my family and friends. It was good to chill for a week. I finished my paper for my geology class which sucked but oh well. I went out to lunch with Joy at Yellowbrix. It was nice to talk to her. On Thanksgiving i hung out at my parents house all day. We had a awesome dinner and a good time talking. Marty and Satin could not make it home so it was different than other years.  Saturday was one of the best days. I finished my paper in the day. Went for a walk with Joy on the ocotillo trail and afterwards hung out and talked it was a fun time. Then later I went with Andy and Amy to the light parade. After that We went to the Trinity and ate and drank wine. I like wine now i had white zinfandel and pinot grigio. I drove home on Sunday. A little after I got into town I went and chilled with Andree, Anthony and Arik.

Two weeks left in the semester. I can't believe it's almost over. WOW where did the semester go.

Damn I look good

 So after a long day on Monday Andree and I went to Ruby's Tuesday. That place was really good. I have never been there before. I am going to start going more. Also I tried a beer drink called Goldenmoon I don't know what was in it but it was great. The week went by quick. Then on Thursday after my lab I drove home for the weekend. Kyle's wedding was on Saturday. I made it to carlsbad and chilled with Kyle talking about the good ol days. After a late night we woke up at 8 to help with getting his wedding ready. We spent all day tying  bows setting up tables, carrying stuff ect. Then we had the wedding rehearsal and that was alright. It was a long day. After all of that we had a huge cookout at his parents house. I had a great time with all f his family and we ate like kings. After that Kyle and I hung out for the last time as him being unmarried. Then on Saturday was Kyles big day. We got ready and had to wait around for a few hours before. Then at 6:00 Kyle and Kim got married. I am really happy for them. I did not know as the best man you had to sign the marriage license. The wedding went as planned. Afterwards was the reception. After a bunch of photos we headed to the reception. I got to sit at the head table will the the vip haha. We had a great dinner. I found the keg haha before i gave my speech. So I was ready for the speech and I had note cards on what to say. But as I started talking I just throw them down and went with it.It was not hard since I like to talk a lot. After that we just hung out and had a awesome time. Then after that Brandon, Cody and Joy came over and hung out and had a party for us single people lol. Then Sunday I woke after a few hours of sleep and helped cleanup the reception hall. Then I drove home got here and went to buffs to get some food. Then I tried to help Andree with her paper but by 2 i was asleep. So I woke and drove home unpacked and went to bed. I weekend was so busy I did not have time to see my family. I like wearing a tux I want to buy one and just wear it on normal days haha. Over all I had an amazing weekend I will not forget about.

Just another week

My week was good. Another typical week with school and work.  On Wednesday i went to a talk about a  gomphothere skull found by Las Cruces. It was really cool to see. Then that night I went to High Desert with Donald and had a good talk. Then On Thursday night was fun. I went to De La Vagas and had some brews. Then Kyle and I went to Andree's where we meet Andree, Arik and Anthony. Andree cooked us some good tacos. We hung out talked played some golf. We had a good time. Then on Friday Anthony and I went boarding around town. On Saturday morning I woke up and went to the Student Leadership Conference at NMSU. I learned some very important ideas that will help me succeed.Then that night I went to Arik's house and watched Bridesmaids. Had a fun time there.

 MY THOUGHTS
You need to have a purpose in life. Once your find that out that purpose  everything in your life will be geared towards that. Do no let anyone get in your way no matter who it is.
