HALLOWEEN WEEKEND

Had a good week. My igneous  petrology lab was so screwed up. We were looking at heavy altered andesites for the Dona Ana mountains. I also went out with the nmsu photography club and took some pictures.   Thursday night I started at The Game, then went to Da La Vaga's then went to the bomb fire. By the time we got there the band quit playing and the fire was dying. So we dead to my place and hung out. That night I ended up falling on my long board and burning my arm thanks to Kyle. Emalie texted me that night. I was surprised but it was nice of her. Then Friday night Andree, Anthony and I went to the Halloween store to get some stuff for our costumes. Then late we meet up with Anthony's friend Arik. He drove us around and we went to a Halloween party the went to Ariks friends house. I got four hours of sleep that night because I had to be up by 8 for the Geology Homecoming field trip. I had a good time we looked at some tuffs and sedimentary rocks. So after that was all over I went home and chilled. Then around five I got all suited up in my Halloween costume. We went to the game for one quarter then left. We headed to El Paso for a birthday/ Halloween party thanks to Andree. It was a really fun time and can't even explain what happened. Then today I woke up and did my GIS homework. Then Arik, Anthony,  Kirstie and Andree had dinner. What a great weekend. The semester is closing down fast. I need to run faster.

Well I made it through another week. I feel like every week is just as busy as the last. On Thursday night I had a good dinner with Andree and Adian at Buffs. Then afterwords I spilled my redbull in her purse. She was pissed haha. Then tried to make the midnight of Paranormal Activity 3 with Keegan but they were sold out. So we just went home. Then on Friday night Kyle and I drove to Acetunas a bar in El Paso. We went and saw Kyles friends band Brewed in Texas. If you like country check them out. I had a great time hanging with the the band and kyles friends. Then the next night I hung out with Anthony and Bill. We played some pool and chilled in my room. Then Sunday night Andree went with me to Wal-Mart. Afterwards bill came over and we watch Bad teacher.  Well I made it through another week Yes!!

Weekend in Cbad

Well I have not been to Carlsbad since I move to college this semester. So on Thursday after my midterm in Petrology and lab. I left and went home. I had a great time there. I will be going back in a month for my friends wedding. I did a lot and wish I could have done more. Then I left on Monday morning to make it to class at 1. So that was my weekend.

THAT'S WHATS UP

What a crazy week. I got back from Midland, Tx on Sunday. Then on Wednesday I left again up to Espanola,NM. I went up there for New Mexico Geological Sciences Meeting. We ate lunch at Socorro Springs I had a Pick Axe IPA and a Pale Ale. We finally made it up to Espanola that evening. We stayed at a Casnio which was cool. That night we had a ice breaker and hung out and talked to some people. Then later that night we hit the bar up till closing. The next day we drove over 100 miles. I saw so many different rocks. I saw sandstone, igneous and metamorphic. That night we had a fancy dinner and listened to some speaker talk about archaeology and geology. Which  was way to long and almost put me to sleep. Then on Friday we looked at more rocks haha. I got to see a Muscovite mine(Apache Mine). The mine as abandoned so were collecting  rock around it. We also went to a Globe mine which was a pegmatite with more Muscovite. We headed back on Saturday around noon. The whole week we were in the Tusas Mountains and Ojo Caliente. I had a lot of fun and learned some good geology. I got back at 5 took a shower and headed to the Southwestern State Fair. I meet Kyle there and we had a great time. We went to the concert that night and saw Josh Abbott Band play. I had a great night. Then on Sunday I went to the Caboes mountains for my geology class. We looked at metamorphic rocks all day. I had fun hiking up those steep mountains hanging out with Gabby and Kyle. I took some great photos you can see below. Then that night I went to dinner with Andree, Anthony and Bill. Then after we went to Andree dirty apartment HAHA and hung out with Jamar.

This past week i did a lot of catching up. Then on Friday night. A few people from cbad came to town. That night we went to some club and I was one of the only white people haha. Then on Saturday evening I went and saw Melissa, Alvin and Audrie. It was good seeing my niece, she is so big now. Then after that I went and hung out with my friends. I can't even explain the night. On Sunday I cleaned up my room and did homework.

Man I have not been in Cruces for the last three weekends. It's been fast and fun. Man I am living the life right now. Check ya later. #Pursuitofhappiness
