Another Week Completed in The Valley

7/11/12- 7/22/12

Wednesday was the first day of me being the ore control geologist!!!! It was a really good day. Then that night I cooked an American dinner hot dogs and mac and cheese. So on Friday After work I drove to Garrett's house. We went and ate some Mexican food, which was really good. Then we started drinking. He went to bed around 12. So I went with his friends to a party. It was pretty fun. I was there till 5 am . So I saw the sunrise twice when I was awake. Them I woke up in my truck and it was hot as hell. Saturday woke up at 11 in my truck. Then went to Taco bell. It started was hailing and raining it was great. Then went to DQ with Zach and Garrett. Later  met Garret's friends for UA they were geo majors chilled for a while and then drove to the valley late that night. Sunday I bought the Samsung Galaxy S3!!!!!! Monday I ate some In-N-Out and bought a new book. I'm starting to getting in to reading. Wednesday I did not have much samples to collect . So I did not have much work. We had tacos for lunch at our safety meeting. I was in the happiest mood today. I love life. Smiling makes you happy. On Thursday I had an awesome talk on the phone with Jamie. On Friday was on the phone all night with different people talking about big issues. That's what friends are for. A true friends is right there when you need them and that's me. Had a great talk with my dad about mining. Saturday was one of the best days. I got to finally see my first HABOOB!!!!!!! I have been waiting all summer for it. I made a blog post about it. Bought a new had at the mall. Finally got some time to go out and hit the Links on Sunday. Also when and bought A clock work orange the movie and a new book Men, Women and Children.

Well I head about these dust storms that occur in The Valley and have been wanting to see one all summer. They are also known as a Haboob. Finally on Saturday I was driving and saw one approaching the city. So I got in to my truck and drove straight in to it. I have a video I made of the haboob.

Tuscon and Carlsbad in One Week

7/2/12- 7/10/12

Monday and Tuesday: I was the sampler for Laylonie. So I just got to do my own thing. It was great. Then I went home and did some homework.

Wednesday:

I had to go to Tuscon for Minesight training for my job. Minesight is a 3D mapping program we use at the mine.  They put me up in a Hilton hotel which was sick. When I got to town I saw Emaile. I hung out with her and her brother on the 4th of July. We drove up to some mountain to watch the fireworks and ate In-N-Out Burger and Eegees. It was a good time.

Thursday:

Was in minesight training allllllll day loooong. Then that night ate at clam jumper with my boss his wife, the lady I work with and her husband and Garrett. Afterwards I  drank some beer and chilled with Garrett. Also drank a brassmonkey OE and OJ!

Friday:
Had Minesight trying all day. Had panda express for lunch which was bomb. Then headed to the Phoenix airport to flight to El Paso so see my family. I had some pizza and drank beer and wine waiting for my flight. Andy, Amy and my Dad met me in El Paso to drive me home. It was a long night.

Saturday:
I surprised my mom on her birthday!

I got to have a nice chat with Gabby!! We had a cookout for my Mom's birthday. A bunch of people came over including so did Kyle, Kim, Jamie and gabby. Then later that night we had beer and a bottle. We were going to go to gabby's but she ditched us. Finally we went to Freds house and partied. Jamie, Josh, Anthony, Valerie, Andree, her brothers and others were there. After we went and ate at Anthony house. Then Jamie and I drove to chill and watched the sun rise then feel asleep there LOL. What a great night that was.

Sunday:

I played 18 holes of Golf with Kyle and Dustin Muggett. Then hung out with the Browning's. Then stayed talking to Shara till 1:30 a.m. it was s a great talk.

Monday:
I hung out with my parents for a while. Then met Cody and Jamie at Chilies to drink some beer. After that I ate dinner at my parents with Andree and Valerie and Jamie. Then we went to sonic and the went to kyles and hung out.

Tuesday:

I woke up and my parents drove me to El Paso. We ate at Landry seafood place. Then I was in the airport. It took 15 minutes to fly hahaha.  My trip was short but I had a awesome time. I just winded down for the week.

Had a awesome week. I got to see my friends and family in Carlsbad. Also did some awesome Minesight training that will help me in the future.  Pictures below of the week.

Warp Tour 2012

Well I could not wait for the week to be over because Van's Warp Tour was Friday.
6/25/12 - 7/01/12

Monday: Marv was in town and we went had had dinner at Texas Roadhouse. We had a really good talk about life.
Tuesday: I was rock sampling at Eder. Then I meet some high up guys from KGHM. I talked to them about some geology jobs possibilities in the future. 
Wednesday: I cross trained with Laylonie sampling blast holes.
Thursday: After work I drove to Las cruces. I went over to Andree's house and had dinner. Jamie, Josh, Anthony Andree and her family were all there. Finished the night at Dublins of coarse.
Friday:Well it was Warp weekend. We woke up at 7 and left to meet Andree at her house. Then went and got jager and redbull. The crew that went was Andree, Jamie, Josh, Robert and Ronnie. I bought a sweet hat, then lost it later at TBS. I got to see Four Years Strong, Every Time I die,The Ghost inside, Born of Osiris, Taking Back Sunday and many more. The best show was TBS.  At TBS Andree, Josh and I got very close to the front. The whole show I was helping people crowd surf. I saw several girls fall which was like DAMN. One point I was falling and then a guy pushed me back up and I looked and it was Ryan Armendarez, Hell yeah. By the end of the show I literally soaked in sweat my shirt and shorts were nasty. We all went to buffs afterwards to eat. Then Anthony and I got OE and Oj for brass moneky and a case of beer. We went to a Party at Ryans the left to a party at the grove. I got to see DJ Barnes!!!!  We all were drunk so we walked on some dirt road by nmsu ag and made it to Whataburger . By the time we got home it was 7 and the sun was up. That day was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Saturday:Woke up late. Was going to get a tattoo but I was miss lead. Josh got a sick ass leg tat. Then we drove to the outlet mall and I bought some sweet vans. My first pair!! We drank some beers, chilled and free styled. Then we partied at the grove again. Jamie and I made that night sick.
Sunday: Ate some lunch made by Anthony and then drove back to the valley.
