WICKENBURG BABY

                                                  Week of June 18th-24th
So the Engineering department at Carlota (which I work in) seem to always have free lunch.  I have been out at Eder which is off of the main mine site. We have been taking rock chip samples for exploration geology. The sensory is so nice since it's away from the mine and in the mountains. We had a lunch from Famous Dave's for the whole company and the food was great.
The Weekend:
Well  I chilled around the house till about 3. Then I made a trip to Wikenburg, Az to hang out with my friend Garrett. When I got there he took me to buy me a Cowboy head!!! Then we went to watch a Cutco demonstration from one of his family members. They are so sick knives but to damn much money. So it was dinner time so he took me to Anita's Cocina. Which was really good. After that we bought some food for the trip to Crown King. We purposely went to a bar because they had Keystone Light on tap for $1. That's so awesome Keystone Light on tap. Then later we went to a bar called the Mecca. We had one beer and left it was alright.
Whiskey in the Wood. Garrett and a bunch of his friends make a trip from Wickenburg to Crown King every year. The bar and an event called Whiskey in the Woods. I don't think I need to explain.  The town has like 2 store and maybe 200 people live there. So we left Wikenburg around 9 am. So that's when the drinking started. It took us over 8 hours to get up there. We took four wheel roads up there. We had several jeeps, and rock crawling, a four runner and arctic cat off road machine. I bet there had to be about 20 of us. We had one Jeep break down but we keep going. We would stop ever 20-30 minutes and take a shot of Crown Royal and hang out. Of coarse guns were pulled out and they brought watermelons to shoot at. After 8 hours of shots, drinking and off roading we made it up there. So we ate dinner and began drinking. We finally left the bar at 2 or so. During that time we all drank whiskey, dance, sang karaoke, and met people. Garret had some fun friends. We meet so people from Finland that came to see the Real America. The were pretty cool. Well I woke up still drunk in a four runner at 12. So I chilled with Garret till about 3 when I sobered up. We watched Nascar and Baseball. Thanks to Garrett for the invite I hope I get to do it again. Then I got home and got ready for work. Had a great talk with Jamie about life that night. So my weekend was so much fun the words and pictures do not do justice.
